Psychotherapy Intensives

Therapy intensives are concentrated, customized therapy experiences designed to accelerate learning and change. Dr. Lewin creates the structure of each intensive on a case-by-case basis based on the needs of the client.

Typically, an intensive involves multiple days of 3-4 hour sessions.
The intensive is comprised of three parts:

  1. evaluation

  2. feedback/plan

  3. intervention implementation.

Therapy intensives are highly suitable for the following concerns:

  • couples work (with both partners engaged in the intensive)

  • anxiety (specific phobias, social anxiety, etc.)

  • OCD

Intensives are ideal for individuals who:

  • Feel a strong sense of motivation for learning, change, and the therapy process

  • Find 45-min sessions pass too quickly and wish for more prolonged periods of therapy time

  • Want to start therapy but are held back by the thought of a new weekly meeting on the calendar
